Great shots, as usual.

Thanks to Rick and Lisa for the hospitality. The Cincy Chilli was excellent, as usual:). Hope everyone enjoys their mods. If you requested one and were not there, I have it. We are short on 900 shafts by a few, and all props are still on backorder. I'm going to piece everything together, but let you finish it out (my fingers hurt...). If you decide you don't want them, there were several others that do, so not a big deal.

your tank looks very nice. i wish we could have been there. audrey and i are a bit under the weather and we didnt want to give to everyone. i guess on a positive note fedex delivered my skimmer for the 200 today. guess the day isnt a total wash :)

Beautiful tank. It was great seeing it in person as well as putting names to faces on here. If you ever grow tired of that frogspawn let me know. ;) Man, I need to move to a home with a basement...
Thank you again Rick for opening up your home for us to meet.

Ashley you have a pm.

Wow! Those fancy shmansy cameras do take nice pictures.

I was good to see you Eric:)

Good to see Wooglin as well:)

Thanks to Rick and Lisa for their hospitality and the Awesome Cincinnati Chili:D
The way Rick talks the tank down all the time I was definitely pleasantly surprised....the tank looks great! The engineering/ingenuity behind it is also something to see.

It was good once again to meet a few new faces and see several of the "old salts".

A big thanks to Chris, Rick and Wayne(and all else that helped) for putting together the mods. That was a bunch of work and I really appreciate it. I am anxious to get some props on mine and try them out:D

Had a great time....looking forward to doing it again next month!

Chris

Hate I didn't get to stay long and do what I do best, talk! Tank looks awsome and my hubby and freinds couldn't belive the basement sump and equipment room. ( they think Rick is a genious  ) Thanks a ton for hosting what I am sure was a great meet!

Oh yeah, forgot to thank Chris, Rick, and Wayne (and all who helped last weekend) for all the work tonight and last weekend. I've got a few of the mods in my rock tank and they really push some serious water. Just got to figure out a way to mount one in my tank in the correct orientation.

One side note, if the shroud seems too short and you are having to force it, stop and pull the small inner bushing back out of the main shroud. I made the mistake of forcing it and pushed the center brace off. I'm waiting on the glue to set...

Yeah, thanks Rick.

I put together one of my maxijet thingys last night and compaired it to my DIY Reeftec thingy. I would say the Maxijet is probably 2/3 as strong as the Reeftec. Of course the Reeftec is basically the same thing but made with a Little Giant or similar pump. They have been burning out every six months or so. That can get expensive over time. I think I am going to use 4 maxijets to replace the 2 Reeftecs. The Maxijets sure look much better. Chris and all who worked on these did a great job. Thanks!

Oh, and thanks Titanfan for the Mandarin and Gary for the mille.

Genius...NO, fan of McGyver, and follower of wife's wishes concerning sound and space...YES!!!! :D
A smart husband always does what he is told, even if it is not the easiest way to do things ;)

Eric:

Thanks; both Lisa and I deeply appreciate the posted pictures, and look forward to getting more on "Disk". They make our tank look like so much more than we see everyday coming home.

Obviously we don't have the equipment to do pictures like this, and we both think you have a business opportunity available to you doing shoots like this. Lenses and lights are overhead that can be written off!

Just our two cents worth....but, please keep in mind several "Reefers" want layout's like this (and it's more fun than weddings) ;)

Lisa & Rick

Thank you Eric for your hospitality, u have a beautiful tank with an awesome setup downstairs, whenever, we get a house, I hope I could seek your advice, PS. Can u tell your wife the chili was delicious

Is that a Christmas wrasse? If so, do you have any crbs or shrimp, etc.? Hawaiian Christmas wrasses are supposed to be predators of AEFW, but the literature tells you they like shrimp and other crustacean.

Yes it is a christmas Wrasse, and I have both shrimp and crabs, no problems, and I don't have any AEFW that I've seen. Maybe he is why. I do love watching him.
