Help 2" maxima

I found my new 2 inch max got pushed off its rock last night which is wierd because it was attached now it is recessed back into its mantle it still opens but doesnt come out i can also see down through it from the top it like where its byssal threads would be is it done for???
Any input please feel so bad for the little guy what should i do?

The same thing happened to me with the same eact size maxima. 2 days later it died. I hope you have better luck.
