my LFS said it will be a happy tank, but my http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/images/smilies/mad02.giftang is chasing my NEW http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/images/smilies/eek2.gifcoral beauty around my tank . the new fish is just running and all the rest in my tank just watch . i even moved 2 pcs of LR. now what ????

A 55g tank is too small for a yellow tang, it will become progressively aggressive as it grows and feels more cramped. With both fish being grazers, I'm sure the tang is just protecting it's territory.

I'm assuming they are the coral beauty, and yellow tang in his signature. I'd remove the tang personally

I had an issue with the yellow tang because of its aggressive behavior when it was in a 56 gl. As soon as I moved to a bigger tank with all the same tank mates it was fine. There just might not be enough room.

Try turning off lights for a day. That always worked for me.
