the reason I don't think those are rpe is because I've got the real ones and when I take a picture with them even with my crappy camera I still can tell that they're red. It all depends if thats what they look like in the tank or if the picture is really underexposed.
i dont think the camera quality has anything to do with the color.
its all about they lighting they are on, and the white balance/ color temp settings on the camera. if the camera settings are in accordinance w/ the lighting of the actual object being shot, even the cheapest camera will produce accurate colors.

i take a lot of pictures.
the pic color is pretty accurate, although i get that shimmer of blue depending on the angle.
i wish there was a definate guide as to which zoanthids/palys are which.
everyone seems to have a different name for the same things, and theres so many of them,
so many color morphs, its difficult to know what is what.
