I need help stocking my new 90g tank. I will have FOWLR at first but eventually want to add corals and anemones. I want as many fish as possible with lots of action/movement and color. Doesnt really matter to me what they are as long as there wont be any fighting. And I'd like 1 clown fish. Any help would be appreciated! :)

Everyone loves tangs... and angels are very pretty and colorful

Arent tangs and puffers pretty aggressive and wont they get very big and not allow me to have many other fish?

If you want to add corals eventually I would stay away from puffers. As for tangs they are not usually aggressive towards other fish that are not tangs. Most tangs will not fit in your tank because they will outgrow it but there are still some you can get: yellow, purple, kole. As for other fish i would look at wrasses and anthias, I think they are great fish.

Here is what I would add for lots of color. Mushrooms - because they don't need much light unless they are ricordia. Yellow, black, green and red clown gobies. They only get 1.5" but are very pretty. Sometimes the red and green ones are hard to get at pet stores, but I would get 2 of each. 2 clownfish, anykind you want, but I would suggest percula or occelaris. Flame Hawkfish, this fish is an awesome color of red. Some type of fairy wrasse or a 6 line wrasse. A couple neon gobies. and maybe a purple pseudochromis. I wish I had all that in my setup.

A kole or convict tank would work fine for a 90 gallon. Maybe 5-8 green chromis and a pair of percula clowns. Plus some other smaller fish. This is my list for my 75 which is about the same size as a 90

4- green chromis
2- True Percula clowns
1- Royal gramma
2- Banggai Cardinalfish
1- Rainford's Goby

Plus I want to add a tang.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. How does this list look?

(1) Tang - Yellow (Zebrasoma flavescens)
OR
(1) Tang - Powder Blue (Acanthurus leucosternon)

(2) Clownfish - Ocellaris (Amphiprion ocellaris)
(1) Angelfish - Flame (Centropyge loriculus)
(2) Goby - Purple Firefish (Nemateleotris decora)
(2) Wrasse - Six Line - (Pseudocheilinus hexataenia)

After about 6 months I will add:
(1) Anemone - Bubble Tip (Heteractis quadricolor)

Which tang would you suggest?? And this would not be overstocked for a 90g right?

i wouldnt put 2 six-lines in that tank. They can tend to not get along together.

For a tang I would do a yellow, convict, or kole.

Also if you want a flame remember they do have a chance to nip corals down the road and put it in last.

Thanks. I will only get one six line. Also, I heard that the yellow tangs can be a little more spastic than like the powder blue tangs? Is there any truth to this?
