HELP my skimmer broke

I have a ER ES5-2 skimmer . The union between the pickup from the bottom of the skimmer to the riser tube has cracked . Its the hard molded o-ring on the outside of the body , this has cracked and now the riser tube is somewhat loose . i can se tons of micro bubbles escaping from it .

Is there a way to fix this (bond) this union ? The skimmer is not even a year old , i dont want to have to buy a knew one . Can i buy a replacement body for it since the pump is still good????

Try some Weldon, if not then contact the company and see if they can help you out.

which weld-on would work for bonding pvc to acrylic ? I have done some poking around and found a skimmer body for 145.00 . I can buy a blemished one for the same price . No brainer there .

I wouldl go with Weldon 4 or you can try some acrylic sealent as well.
