Help with my toadstool

Hi guys im new to the forum but am in need of your assistance. My toadstool has closed up and looks pretty beat up. Can anyone tell me if this coral will come back around or if it is dead? Water parameters are all zero, etc. salinity is 1.025

Could be shedding. I Dont have much experience with leather but that could be a reason. Did this occur randomly?

Yes, the toad used to be up high in the tank where he was being directly hit by a circulation pump.

what lighting do you have ??

I currently only have the marine orbit led (which are only 0.5w leds, but im working on building a 3w led fixture soon
