Help with proper lighting...

What would be proper lighting for my LPS. Right now I have 2 10k and 2 actinic 39w bulbs. Is this way to much on a 29 gallon tall?

I highly doubt it is too much. You will really enjoy and be better off with different bulbs though. Get some good ATI bulbs and everything will be happier.

I'd run 2 blue plus, 1 actinic and 1 coral plus for an 18-20k look. If you want a little less blue change the coral plus to an aqua blue or a blue plus to a second coral plus.

For tube florecent lamps, the closer to the tube you have the coral, the much greater is the intensity. If a coral seems to really want light, put it up higher. Those lights should be good for LPS.
