Here's the followup from Dr. Ron:

"THANKS!!! for the excellent series of images. The animal is indeed a Nassarius. I think it is probably Nassarius coronatus or a similar species (it varies a bit from my references images of this species) found from the Philippines and other areas in Indo-Pacific.

They should be fine additions to a system.

At least they didn't screw me with something I can't use. They'll actually come in quite handy. Funny thing is they could probably market them better (b/c of size issues) as large sized Nassarius snails...go figure.
