Help with XM Bulbs

I've just swopped from DIY magnetic ballasts to electronic ones & now have a problem with the bulbs!

AFAIK electronic ballasts /should/ run any bulb, well mine do but the XM bulbs are giving off a very high pitched whisltling noise (yes Its deff coming from the bulbs) But if I put an old Arcadia bulb in then that works just fine, as did the XM bulbs with the magnetic ballasts so I'm a bit stumped??????

Has anybody else come across this before, or does anybody know the contact details for XM?

FYI the bulbs are 15k XM D/E 150w

If I remember correctly, XM bulbs don't do so well on electronic ballasts. I may be wrong though.

What would anybody reccomend around the 14-15k mark for a D/E 150w replacement?

i had the same problem.. i am now running ushio 14K nice color on them....
