Help!!

I am getting a lot of algae in my mantis tank, but everytime I put a snail in there for clean up my mantis gets him within 5 minutes. How do you keep the algae down without snails???

I use a small set of Mag-Float magnets to clean my mantis tank side walls. If I try to put any living thing in the tank, the mantis is will destroy it in about 10-15 seconds.

Could try a sea urchin.

None of my mantis go after the snails in their tank, if I keep them well fed with frozen shrimp and feed them by hand.
