I bought a mushroom the last weekend and i have since been trying to get it to attach itself to anything. First i let it sit on a peice of rock without phs on. Then i tried putting it in a fish breeder net with rocks on the bottom of the net and the mushroom ontop of that and it still wouldnt attach. What should i try next?

Fishing line: tie it around the rock and shroom, gently.
Bridal netting: make a bag around the rock.
Create a 'bowl' of small rock bits and let the shroom pick a rock, just resting in the hollow. [damp your flow a bit for this one.]

it can take up to a few weeks depending on the mush so give it some time as well once you get it where you want it
