hippopus possible parasite???

ok a couple days ago i seen a white thing(looked like the foot of a clam, exactly) only thing is it was on the inside of the clam touching the "wall/side", and then today it was coming out the in syphon

is it a parasite or something i should be worried about?(it seems perfectly healthy and the other clams are doing fine as well)

or could it be its own foot on the inside?(never seen or heard of it before but i guess its possibly)

and ill try and see if i cant get a pic sometime later, if i see it again

I believe it could be the foot. If it was a parasite, you'd know, the clam would be shut tight, or listless, offering no response to external stimula.

i was thing it was the foot, and thats why i wanted to ask before i made an attempt to remove it.

the clam is still healthy and acting normal, im still going to keep an eye on ell of them just in case
