Anyone know what this stuff is? came on a rock with zoos. Comes out at night & is transparent for the most part. There is 1 large one center pic & one small down & to the left.

Hard to tell from the pic, but probably just a small anemone of some sort, maybe a cornyactic spp. Like aips, or any other small anemome they are only a problem if they get out of control. The cornyactis that I have in my tank are mostly nocturnal and don't cause any probs, and I have lots of them. But I know David had a similar looking anemone in his sandbed that caused lots of probs.

I looks kind of like the ones I have. They are nocturnal anemonies, They are harmless and under moon lights the tips of their transparent tenticles glow real bright. I will try to find you the actual name of them I looked them up before.

DKKA- The rock came from Davids tank LOL...he couldnt remember what they were called either & suggested asking here.

Blooper- that is a very good description of these, same thing I imagine.
