I was cleaning my hob fuge this evening and noticed this thing in the chaeto as I was pulling it apart to spread it better.
Looks a lot like a grub you'd find in the ground. Same fleshy texture as well(ew). I'm guessing it's some kind of tunicate? But not sure. The tip closed up and retracted when I was trying to figure out what it was. It did open back up a minute or two later, but wasn't much different. Just a bit of a pinched nozzle kind of opening on the end.
