host clam

I have a fairly new gigas clam that a maroon clown seems to be treating as its new host. I havnt seen any damage but Im wondering if its going to get beat up. Any thoughts?

THE BEST THING WOULD JUST KEEP AN I ON THE SITSUTATION.
IF THE CLAM KEEPS OPENING AND CLOSING THEN ONE OF THEM HAVE TO GO.........

i wouldn't worry about it to much as long as the clam is staying open and getting plenty of light

As mbbuna said, if the clam is staying open you should not worry about it. I have seen this occur before and in all cases the clam didn't seem to care that it was being hosted by the clownfish.
