How direct pump flow in nano cube

In your opinion what is the best way to direct pump flow?

Now I'm directing the flow from back to the front (in the left of the tank) but I have the problem that the left part of the tank (under the pump) is filled of deposit

Is it better do direct the flow from back to front as I'm doing.... or from side (back) to side?

I would place another power head on the other side in back, perhaps at a somewhat different height than the other. I would then point them both up and to their opposite corners so that they meet up and mix together somewhere in the middle of the tank. This will give you good surface agitation so that your water stays well oxygenated and will also help to prevent any dead spots that allow detritus to accumulate.

Because you are going bare bottomed if any does settle out, it will be a simple matter to siphon it out when you do water changes.

What are planning to keep in there? I see mostly soft and LPS corals, so aim for about 20-30x tottal flow from your power heads

hth!

First question should be: what kind of flow do you want to have where.
A second pump and alternating the two would definitely be a good idea.
Also, sometimes, directing the flow to the bottom gives you a much better return flow over the rockwork.
It is near impossible to solve this conclusively from a distance.
I would suggest to experiment a little bit to see what gives you the best overall flow. And I would suggest to try even unusual things that seem counterintuitive. Sometimes those give you surprisingly good results.

Well, I would like to add a little layer of sand in the next weeks actually. so maybe directing them on the bottom could be a problem :D

Yes I'm planning to keep mostly lps, (with 2/3 sps in the back)
