how do i feed polyps with my food?

i have frozen plankton as food... they're like brine shrimp or something? i dont know i just put them in the water..

does my polyps get fed? or do i have to directly feed them or something??? im lost.. is there stuff in the frozen food that goes into the water that will feed the polyps?

some of the polyps may get a little of it, but it would be so much more effective if you hand fed them with a syringe. I melt some cyclopeeze (awesome) and phytoplankton in a little tankwater, suck it up with a syringe and spot feed the polyps. You can see their mouths open up a little and sssllllloooowwwlllyyyyy suck it in. A pain in the butt when youre busy, but its actually kinda fun on a lazy weekend. Thats why I only do it like once a week
