how do i know my MUSHROOMS are okay?

its my 4th week now and because i had great water conditions, i added my first corals. Last night i added a few baby mushrooms. the owner of my Local Fish Store told me that if the mushrooms are not visible (if the mushrooms have shrivled up and haven't bloomed) then my water isnt ready. so far, the mushrooms are visible and they seem to be clinging to the rocks, almost as if they were stressed out or something. can someone please help?

Probably just stressed, may need more time to acclimate. When I got my first mushrooms, they took a couple of days to look really good. Also, they dont like alot of light or flow, mine do better under an overhang. Got any pictures?

After four weeks you are not ready for corals yet...and I suspect they are stressed. Slow down....wait another month...then add some herbivores..wait another month and then we can talk about some corals...maybe.
