How do I stop Coralline on the Sand bed?

I have Coralline starting to grow on my sand bed. How do I prevent this? Thanks in advance!

I would love to have coralling growing on my sand. Would be a great addition of color.

No thanks. I like the white sand. I just want to get rid of it.

Well, one approach to algae problems is to try to starve the pests. Are you sure it's coralline? In any case, you'd want to look at your feeding levels, or adding a macroalga area for growin and harvesting something like Chaetomorpha. Are you using tapwater? If so, it can add to nutrient problems.

i have never heard of coralline growing on the sand. got some pics of it?

Just give it a stir every once in a while. It will turn white without light.

I have coraline growing on mine also but it gets broke up as cleaning crew and gobies sift sand

I would show pics but I just scraped it up with a net. I use RO water.

My cleanup crew does nothing to the sand but make it a mess. I have so much debri from my rock. I wish there was a way to get it all up.
