How do you quiet you in sump pump

I have and eheim 1262 for a return pump, and it vibates on the glass. Just looking for ideas on hot to quiet it.

Try a rubber sink mat from a kitchen store. Just cut to size. Worked wonders for quieting down my skimmer pump.

Do u have the suction feet on the Eheim?

I have bb fuge w 1262 eheim w suction cups on bottom.

They also make 100% silicone hot pads that Walmart and cooking stores sell. Just put one in the sump under the pump and it will quite it down. They have little dimples on them that help to create high spots that get rid of all the noise and vibrations. I used them for yrs under my pumps and skimmers in my sumps.

I have a 1262. I just filled a ziploc bad with sand and put that under the pump. Works great.

had some minicell foam [nonporous] left over after outfitting my kayak - works great, but the other suggestions sound like they worked fine as well

I used to rubberband tank sponges to my pumps. It keeps them extremely silent.
