How Heavy?

So, what size tank can one have without having to worry about the weight of the whole thing on one's floor?

I would not even start to worry about the floor unless that tank exceeded 150 gallons or you are in a very old or poorly build home.

A 90 would not be a problem in a regular house.

Most houses meet standard code of 2 X 8's with 16" centers. If yours is so, then 90 gal is fine.
