How long can zoas be out of water?

I've had mine out for about five minutes before when I frag, but when I change water my corals are out of water for around 10 minutes sometimes. I don't like to do that often though.

I heard that Zoas survive the tides in the ocean and can withstand being out of the water longer than most corals...

I had some zoos out for about four hours. Took about a week to open back up, but they are doing great.

Yeah zoas retain water and are occasionally shipped just wrapped in moist paper towl. They should be fine for hours out of water but just dampening them should help.

It won't take that long. Just need to dermal the posts off of the frag plugs they're on so I can glue the plugs to the back wall
