how long without daylight before problems

i have a t-5 vho fixture with 2 daylight and 2 acitinic blue bulbs and last night the 2 daylights blew and i think it was the ballast so just replacing the bulbs wont do-my 2 acitinic blues are still ok-

i cant get a new fixture for a couple of days-i have corals-how long before i start having issues

Couple days you will be fine. And if you are still running the actinics you will extend that time. People regularly go days without light in order to stop cyano.

Try switching the one of the actinic bulbs out with one of the daylights. That way you can have one of each till you get your new ballast.

This happened in one of my tanks and i left it for like 2 weeks, caused my RBTA to split. Kinda wanna do it again!! LOL
