How many people from near the Montgomery area?

Hey guys and gals. I've been in Montgomery now for about 8 months and have met one person who has an aquarium (and he does aquarium maintenance). The one strong LFS here moved a bunch of stuff recently with the Black Friday sales, so I know they're around. Does anyone fitting the bill hang out around in this forum?

I'm in Montgomery. Periodically I have SPS and zoas to trade. Not too much at this moment, but if you are interested, PM me.

Cool. I was just up that way (or closer than Montgomery, anyway). I had to see if Petsville had anything left (just heard about them shutting down today). What kind of corals are you into? I've got a little of everything. My 125 is SPS (mostly acros, but a few other odds and ends, too). The 120 is an LPS/softie tank. The 22 is an Aussie Acan tank, and my 'wife's' 40 softie is finally up and running. When you can't make up your mind, just set up another tank, right:). Just set up a 5 for misfits (massive Mithrax crab, teddy bear crab, fireworms, etc.). I'm working on a major plumbing project to connect everything into a closet to take some of the noise out of the living room... It's starting to get exciting again.

How far out in Millbrook?

I've been told that there was interest in a club in this area. I think getting LFS support might be an issue, which makes it difficult, but I'd be willing to help get something going. I miss seeing other people's tanks... Our meetings in Nashville were either at other reefers houses or at LFS', so there was always some sort of crack to enjoy. Seeing the different setups was always fun for different ideas on DIY's, etc. How much interest is there for some sort of club?

That IS going to present some interesting challenges.

I wish you well.
