how many tangs can i have in a 6ft long 100 gallon tank

Your dimensions sound like a 125.
In either case, depending on your choices, I would stick with two max.
FWIW I have a med/lg Naso and a sm/md sail fin and I am definitely maxed out.

Depending on your filteration I would do two or three.

I got two in a 90g and they have been healthy for yearss.

Lol check this guys 150 out.. click on carls 150 in the top left. Think hes got enough?lol

That is an awesome tank!!!!

I would say it depends on the tangs. If you went with a larger tang, I would stick to just one. If you went with smaller tangs, I'd say three.

Check out the bottom right.. carls 300g.. its his new tank... very sweet

I loosley followed the rule of not keeping 2 of the same body type together in my 80 gal long. I have a larger Vlamingi tang, a blue hippo, yellow, and a kole. Everyone has been doing great for years. I have also had 6 yellow tangs in a smaller tank before all worked out well. But I would go with medium to larger tangs. The smaller ones are far more fragile.
