how often do you guys clean your "electrical appliances"?(ph, return pump, skimmer, etc)

My skimmer is an Urchin. There's a little button screw you undo and clean with a brush every 6 months or so. For the rest, if there's salt encrustation (salt creep) I try to get it off before it falls on a coral, and I wipe the outside to keep it nice-looking. Whoever looks into my sump cabinet should have a strong heart.

i clean the pumps/powerheads when i notice they are losing flow. i clean the skimmers colection cup about once every 2 weeks. i usually clean them with some of the old water from water changes. if you have some calcium build up on things clean them with some vinegar and water mixture. the vinegar will disolve the calcium. then rinse it with some water.

Return Pumps every year.
Powerheads weekly.
pH probes every couple of months.
heaters every 3 months

I clean almost everything about every 3 months. I use muriatic acid diluted about 20:1 with water. It works much faster than straight vinegar. Everything gets rinsed extra well.
