How prevent infection by bryopsis from newly introduced corals?

Hi
I wiped out my bryopsis with fluconozole. I'm glad I pulled the trigger, no losses (crossing fingers).
**If I get a new acro colony I'm thinking the only way to lower chances of introducing bryopsis is to cutt the colony of it's rocky base? Should I dip it in high concentration of fluc for 20 mins etc?
Even if I cut off the rock base (if in fact I need to do that), I guess it's still possible it can be on the coral itself(?). Possibly there may be a dead area that I cant see where a bryopsis cell can be (?).
Or is there really nothing I can do to really bring that chance of infection down a LOT, and just stock my tank, and assume I'll need a redose down the road?

TY!
