you can either chip away at the base and leave part of the rock they are on still attached or you can take a sharp razor or sicors and cut them off as close to the rock as you can. just remember if you leave part of the base on the rock it will grow another shroom.
I have actually cut off blue shrooms from LR and cut them on a cutting board like pizza. I then took the pieces and secured them on another rock with rubber bands. This is the result.
i don;t want to get rid of them just move em but some of the rocks they are on canlt be moved because what i am oing is putting a layer of lr on the bottom then putting black tahitti moon sand on that then building my reef wall to get a really nice naturalish looking floor in my tank and some of the mushrooms are below where the sand will go and the tank has only been running 2 weeks and its not done having liverock added
