Hey all, my fish has been sick latley. Against all odds i put melafix in the tank. Skimmer is going nuts. I am carbon dosing this is not good, my tank could crash, nitrates already went up. Btw i did a 25 percent water change and dumpd a ton of carbon. Why is it still doing this?? Am i screwed???

Try like a 50% water change and let the skimmer do the rest of the job for you. run a hose from your skimmer collection cup and let it go to a large container, Just keep adding carbon.
