Huge skimmer on nano tank

I bought the ASM g3 Skimmer for my 30 gallon tank....lol

I have a 10 gallon sump on it and it is only filled with sand and ro saltwater. I am in the process of setting it up.

The skimmer should be here by thursday.

I have a ten gallon and I was constantly getting ****ed with the skimmer I bought for it because it worked like s@#t. So i decided to spend a lot of money on a good skimmer. I didn't recognize how big this skimmer was lol and now I am really excited because my tank will be clean as anything. There is no such thing as overskimming right? lol

I know the skimmer is bigger than i thought so i will have to get a bigger sump so i think im gonna go with a 30 gallon rubbermaid.
Does anybody know where I can get these rubbermaid bins? I was thinking home depot/Lowes.....

I run an ASM # on my 120 and love it I only can only imagine how clean your water will be.

Why don't you buy a bigger tank, and use the 10 gal as the sump??? Would your lighting and other hardware be able to do that? I am not familiar with this skimmer though...so maybe the 10 gal isn't even big enough...?

i put the 30 gallon in a wall. lol no going bigger now
