I ordered a #44 box of LR that was supposed to show up today. Our fedex and UPS has ran already and no rock. I was sent no tracking number to tell if it is even on its way! I have left and message and called marine depot live every few minutes since they opened this morning and have not been able to get anyone on the phone. Even if it still shows today no tracking # and no one there to anwser phones is poor service!!!!!!!

Finally got them on the phone they "forgot" to ship it. They are going to ship it for saturday delivery to my house with no extra charge. None the less I am still bummed out. I took half a day off to do this and now it is wasted.

Sharpy98,
We really do understand how frustrated you are about the situation. Unfortunately, you called here at 6:05 A.M. Pacific Standard Time, and so we were not able to answer your calls at the time. Please accept our appologies, as we really do try to make sure that everyones experience with Marinedepotlive is as positive as possible. Jim Newman

Truth be told I started calling at 6:05pst and left a message. Then resumed calling from 7:30- 8:00pst when I got ahold of a person. I have settled down a little since then. I am no less let down but I am content in knowing you guys took action to correct the problem as best you could.

It all ends well... I received my rock on Saturday morning. I would have to say this is very nice rock. It was all very porous mostly covered in purple, red and green coralline. It is not ââ"šÂ¬Ã…"œloadedââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ with life, but there is some there that I am in trying to i.d. No signs of mantis or bristle worms. There were about 5 football sized pieces 10 baseball or bigger and about a handful or so of smaller and rubble (very little). I am very pleased with what I got I could not have gotten anything like this locally and the $3.40 a pound price is icing on the cake. I would recommend this rock to anyone.

I also bought the MarineDepot Fiji live rock special and couldn't be happier! I bought 90 pounds and it is terrific. The folks there were very helpful and I got it overnight by simply calling the DHL office and picking it up myself (rather than waiting for home delivery the next day).

It has a little purple and red coralline but most of it is green. I really like it. No sign of any worms or shrimp.

No way I could get anything close locally for a little more than $3 a pound including shipping.
