I Cannot ID This Coral!

OK..I cannot figure out what this thing is. My husband thought it was dead and I was begining to believe him. I have poked it trying to get it to retract...it would do nothing. Then, this morning its mouth was wide open. Weird. Here is a pic. I have posted before and was maybe mushroom, brain, Musside, possibly Lobophyllia...maybe these pis would help:

I can't say with absolute certainty, but is sure looks like a doughnut coral, either Cynarina deshayesiana or a Cyanaria.

I can't narrow it down generically, but it is definitely a Mussid of some sort.

def. not a candy cane... it is a a type of cynarina or scolymia..just as the above stated..

The coral in the picture is larger than a quarter. I would say about 1 1/4- 1 1/2 inches across...
