I have an unwanted mantis shrimp

i have an unwanted mantis shrimp that i can't find but i hear it everynight i have not lost any fish, corals, or inverts but that doesn't mean i won't. right now my main concern is it going to break my glass because the sound is like my teenage daughter popping her gum. can anyone help me

If you haven't seen the mantis, and your tank if over 20g, don't worry about the glass. Read back through the other threads in this forum, various ways are discussed on mantis catching techniques. Also, if anyone on this thread is close to your location , they may want to help you remove it, in exchange for the little guy.
