I need a quote for a speech on the hobby!

OT Godfather
So, i'm doing a persuasive speech on saltwater aquariums to convince my audience that doing so might not be as hard as they believe it to be. I'm looking for a really good memorable quote to use at the end of the speech regarding our tanks being a "piece of the ocean" or along those lines....

any ideas??????????

Or, due to the fact that keeping a healthy reef tank, takes a whole lot of money, and time thats why i'm dressed this way, and havent shaved for 3 weeks. Works for me all the time.....
Or, if you can care for a freshwater tank, your half way there.

Maybe instead of a quote you could do an interpretive dance using the motions of a reef. You could sway and pulse and grab imaginary mysis with your tentacles, and then throw candy at the crowd.

What, does VW want a fresh water tank in their showroom?

"Who'd have thought keeping a box of the ocean could be so interesting."

Also, maybe hunt through book reviews to find good quotes. Like "An aquarium is not only a piece of furniture but also a piece of nature moved into the living room." -Kjell Fohrman

For years Reef keeping has been one of the best accepted hobbies around the world. Not only do you have the privileged to own a small portion of the ocean, but rather improve your skills in time management, micro economics, and become more responsible about the actions we do. .... < How is that?:D

Ohh please...you guys suck at this.... I am the king of BS...

Check this out...

Today we are faced with many environmental issues that are affecting our oceans and our reefs. We all have heard the words before, global warming, pollution, etc etc..we have also heard about the damage this is causing. Sadly these often repeated lines have no impact or don't generate enough interest for people to really care. By investing in just a small piece of the ocean, a reef tank, you can bring your friends and families much closer to that far away place that our actions here are affecting. This close encounter with nature will spark emotions and a more personal sense of responsibility to our reefs. People WILL start to care more.

How is that Tonya?

You got that right..Senior Network Administrator pretty much means...surf the web all day until someone complains that the internet is slow. I stop downloading my porn and then their bandwidth increases. :)

Lol.....jepuss...you are a true BSer lol VERY nice....

but i also like the short but sweet "An aquarium is not only a piece of furniture but also a piece of nature moved into the living room." -Kjell Fohrman posted by ccarogal

yours too joejoe!

of course the crack addiction quote is good also...hmmmm....

Remember Tonya...when concluding a speech you should summarize or wrap up your major points of the speech...

However a nice line..like...LOOK at the stingray....isnt she a beaut.....ohh crickey...my heart.

"have you ever wanted to play God? Forget the stem cells, and pick up reefing. Fish and coral will worship you and depend on you like no deity's business". -Juan

lol...yeah, this quote will be going right after my summary...

I was thinking about this...

"I’d like to finish today with a quote from Kjell Fohrman, "An aquarium is not only a piece of furniture but also a piece of nature moved into the living room."

but that seems a little too short......

any more ideas??????????

YES.... Id like to finish today with a quote from jepuskar.

It's not the size of the quote that matters...its how you use it that does.

I have to use that one alot.
