i seen in the paper the green bay aquarium soc. is having an auction on sunday the 19th in kakuanua. has anyone been to one of these? it said auction, live fish new and used equipment free to buy and sell for everyone? i was just wondering if its worth the time to swing by? Thanks Andrew

Lots of freshwater. Little or no salt livestock. Its agreat place to pick up basic equipment and some cool locally "grown" freshwater exotics.

If your into freshwater yes, otherwise do not waste your time.

If you show up near the end you can get some real nice fish for cheap. In the early part of the show things go for a lot more.

Mostly guppies, pleco's angels and cichlids.

Way too many cichlids and people with cichlid fetishes. A few more well-grounded reefers would definitely be a plus for the auction.

GBAS has been around for a long time, I doubt you'll see any shift to saltwater at any point in our lifetime! :D

That said, most of the frshwater stuff is great that you can get, and auctions are always a lot of fun. I moved to TN after the last one they had at the nature center in GB...which figured because I lived about 3 miles from 1000 Islands in Kaukauna.
