I had put together a pretty decent turnover set-up for my new 125, it is a DART CL, 2x SEIO 1100's and 3x MJ 1200's at the surface. This gave me 50x turnover...but, now that I have my new tank in my apt. I have some weight concerns with this tank and in my fear of it going through the floor I have turned it into a 85 gallon long if you will. This means that I will have like 80x turnover!! with the same pumps.. too much?, the tank is a BB.

If your goal is to keep mainly SPS than it should be fine.

I doubt you will have any issues. If you do, just do as twon8 says, and remove a MaxiJet or two.

You could put the MJ's on a wakemaker. That way, they won't all be on at the same time (at least not all of the time). It will give you a little more random flow as well.

ClckWrk has far more, he was pushing over 114X in his 120, I think that his 180 is over 130X.

its not the how much flow you have

it is how you use the flow that counts

(just so you arent blowing the flesh off your sps you are fine)
