I'd have to agree with plana. (although ID'ing is hard and I'd never pretend I know anything for sure)
The fused horizontal plates are pretty revealing and suggest plana. I assume your 3rd small attachment is the same coral.
Funny that plana was not recognized initially by Vernon and Wallace feeling that it was a growth form of A tenuis. (they seem to me to look nothing alike grossly.)
The fused horizontal plates are also reminiscent of A solitaryensis but not quite to that degree. With A efflorescens taking it to the extreme.
Are the vertical branches regular and short and the overall growth fairly flat? If so, I'd guess more A soli or another similar one, A clathara. If they are varied and irregular in length, maybe A plana.
Yeah the only reason i used it over the Coral of the World site http://coral.aims.gov.au/ is because it was faster. I guess I'll have to be more patient. :bounce3:
