ID algae please

I wish I could get a picture of it but it is in a small area and I cannot... here's a description:

Size: approx 1 mm long and .3 mm wide
Color: deep green but translucent
Shape: rounded
Grouping: probably 30 or so overlapping in tight configuration, on only one rock in a small, hard to reach area.

- they look like a tubular vitamin E capsule but green instead of yellow

ideas?

do a search on Valonia and see if the pictures you find match up. I've a hunch they will

Valonia is round... this algae is tube-like
Valonia is greenish gray... this algae is a deep green (pretty really)
