About a year or so ago, I glued a couple of Gorgonian tips onto a piece of rubble at an LFS I used to frequent. The Gorgonian never amounted to much and then a polyp appeared on the rock. Its been growing every since and is looking quite nice. I'm assuming this is a Favia of sorts because I couldn't be lucky enough to get a hitchhiker Acan. But I'm not really sure. What do you think?

could you make the picture a little smaller so I can be even more unsure...

You know a simple " The pic is too small to tell." would suffice. If you don't like a pic or thread, you're not obligated to leave a contemptuous response.

The pic was resized when I made it my avatar. However, here's the pic before it was resized.

The pic is good,it's just a tough coral to identify IMO from a pic.

I agree, its tough for me even looking at it in my tank. I just don't know enough about the differences between the groups. Thanks for the pic compliment.

It wasn’t meant to sound that way. It was meant more as nudging humor. Unfortunately the internet doesn't convey tone or expression...that combined with others insecurities leads to misunderstandings...
Here is a link you can look though for the ID. I will no longer do it for you, but I would start under the Favites genus.
