ID mini snail on the coral

ID this 1/4" smail:

it came on soft coral, now sits all the time on another (chili). No coral declining. Good, bad, should I remove it?

I agree it does appear very whelk like, would it be possible to get some clear shots of the aperture with snail/whelk retracted, and one top down with the snail/whelk out?

It sits without moving on the same place for a long time, firmly attached. The old close-up:

Probably, it's better to throw it away.

Doesn't matter where he comes from, David is right. This is a juvie Coralliophila, and he'll definitely eat coral.
