Just brought this bad boy back! I already acclimated him, and he is now happily sitting in the tank. I took the best pics I could with the camera I have. Please help with the ID!

Thanks!

I will try and get some better pics. But thanks for that respose. I dont know if this helps, but it does have light blue tips. Are Tricolors exspensive? Because I bought this little bugger for $80.

Well, at least I like it. Now I know to order from liveaquaria. Even with shipping it will be cheaper, huh? Is it a A. Valida though?

Start surfing acro sites to get an idea of what is normal prices for acros.... but be warned they are always more expensive than mostly any other coral....... Limited editions or rare acros will carry a much larger price tag. Oh by the way I notice your from Ohio... so am I :) Oh and that coral is a Valida......

nah, it might change in color as it settles to YOUR tank, but then it will just grow away. i have a few validas and they look the same from a 1" frag to a 4" chunk.

ehh, not nearly as fast as my stag or formosa but it does grow fairly well, i ahve gotten about 1/2 - 3/4" on mine in the last 4 months . while my formosa and stag have put on over 1 1/2 " if not more in that time frame

Wow. I cant wait to get some more SPS. Now what should I feed it. The guy at the LFS suprised me and said I dont need to feed it anything when I asked him. Is fish poo enough?

I personally don't think it's a Valida. I will look into it but I believe it to be something else. Can you get a closer, better pic please? I pull mine down on the sand sometimes to get a close pic.
