Haha I was alittle off what you want from a newblet I felt as though I knew somthing even though I was talking out my butt. :)

I really like the coloration of yours! Im not so fond of the attitude of damsels, they dont allow enough flexibility of inhabitants.

I have a yellowtail damsel, that was a mean little sucker, until my cinnamon clown put him in his place---now he behaves just fine!!! ;) :D

Haha JMC, sometimes ...I stress Sommmmmmmetimes, I talk out my butt too :)

EvilE, I love it when bully fish get put in their place. LOL

Thanks Ken. Believe it or not, this one is very docile. Doesnt bother a thing and is more shy than anything else. Im not really into Damsels other than Blue/Green Chromis, but I got this guy with a tank a few years back and he has been great! And you are right, most damsels are bad boys/girls you sometimes feel like strangling. This one is a few years old, so I dont think he will turn into the naughty grey terror anytime soon. Unless he gets cranky as he gets older. :p

Tang, yeah, it was quite a thing! I had a few different varieties of damsels at one time, and he picked on all of them, and actually killed them!! He was the lone fish in the tank for a while. Then I got the cinnamon clown from Jaredloo, and put him in with him, and the cinnamon put him in his place--FAST!!! I now have a firefish, bicolor Blenny in there with them, and they all exist in harmony--no more bullying or fighting!!:D

maybe a talbots damsel... the only thing that doesnt really fit is the black dot.

Thanks Alto, pretty close but the shape is different ( at least from the angle of the pic shown) no black dot, and no yellow around the eyes. Thanks though! Morph, ya think??

I have a pair of yellow tailed damsels that were bulling my Royal gramma until I put them in time out. I put a large plastic breeding container (from my fresh tanks) in there and caught them and put them in there for 2 weeks and then released them agian and they perfect little angels now. Now tht my gramma has her own little hole to live in she guards it well. I love my tank Jonathan
