This guy has doubled in size since I have had him and he is pretty heavy, I had to take him out for the tank for big water change. Heres a pic

Sweet thanks are they suppose to get that big? Hes the size of a frisbee.

Yeah that particular kind of hairy shroom can get quite large! I have one thats looking like its going on 6-8 inches so far and it was half that when i got it a few months ago.

They do get large, but be glad that you don't have an Amplexidiscus sp. (Elephant Ear Mushroom). These get about double the size, and can eat fish and invertebrates.

Looks kind of like mine

Its a hairy green mushroom , every other day I like to feed mine a few marine pellets which it seems to really like.

They do grow very fast mine is about the size of my palm and I understand they can get as big as a dinner plate.

my LFS has one in thier 300 allon that is about 16 inches in diameter.... its nuts. they get huge, it has about 5 babies that are like 5-10inches
