ID this algae?

What is this stuff. I was told it was Bryopsis but when I look at online pictures it doesn't look like Bryopsis. This stuff appeared after the hair algae went away. This is much easier to control, but it isn't going away.

Hi reefmarker,

That looks like Caulerpa taxifolia to me. If not that species, definately a species in the Caulerpa genus. Could you post more / sharper pictures?

I'll try to post better pictures tonight. None of my fish will touch it. I have a scopas tang and had a lawnmower blemie. It grows like a weed. It does seem to not grow as fast when my alk and Ca is high 14 dhk, 460 Ca.

I looked up Caulerpa taxifolia and it sure does look like it.
