Identify Me

There are several speices that look like as juveniles... I dont think anyone is going to be able to give a solid ID.

I have seen similar identified as black clarkiis. They are the only black clowns I have seen with yellow on the tail.

of the "parents" and i know they akinydos

If you know they akins, why are you asking for an ID of the offspring?!?!

Obviously

Obviously

Because those babies dont look anything like akinydos as all. So i was wondering if some had ever seen akinydos babies and be able to identify they as that.

Ok well you guys

Ok well you guys

are still not helping me... You all identify as something else has any of you seen akinydos babies.... and is this what they looks like......

Sorry i didnt use proper posting ediquette but there is not reason to be a snob about it

Well, I am certainly not trying to be a snob about it, but I think it is safe to say that if the parents are akinydos, then so are the babies, I don't see how much more you can be helped. Jhardman specifically said that juveniles of several species can look like that.

When they are that small anything in the clarkii complex is very hard to determine. That is why a lot of times location is so important, and of course if you know the parents. Akyndinos have been very hard to raise so not many small juveniles around to look at.

I think you would have gotten a better response if you would have worded the question differently.

I guess the answer you are looking for is "Yes, that is exactly what baby akindyos look like".

Allardi babies also look very much like that at that age, as do a couple other species in the clarki complex of clownfish.

I'm guessing those are from Sanjay's pair at Penn State?
