I'm just complaining

After the storm, I lost power for days and the generator was screwy. Dosing got messed up, and my tank took a nose dive. I still haven't gotten it back to normal, I thought I did, but today I came home and a ton more RTN. I'm going to log my losses so some day I can compare to what once was. And I'm fishing for sympathy. Of course.

So far I've lost:

Softball size blue cali tort - Had for years.
More WWC Yellow Tips than you can shake a stick at
Tri-Color Valadia - I thought this was indestructible
1.5" Walt Disney Frag - My kids are upset about this. Like tears.
Silver Dollar sized blue encrusting monti - some rando monti I found at Greenwich Aquaria. Now white on rock.
RBTA - goners
(Childs) Fist sized red goni - This hurts.
One yellow milli with red polyps - This sucks too.
Random red milli - completely RTN in less than 12 hours.
ORA Red Planet - I also thought this was indestructible. Nope.
Garf Bonsai - Still has some life left but significant STN
Oregon tort - mostly gonzo

But the birdsnest is ok. Thank God for the birdsnest right? Anyone wants some bulletproof birdsnest, I got you.

My LPS are angry but alive. Pink wall hammer, frogspawn, some bubble corals, dragon soul torch, etc. And the birdsnest. Who needs birdsnest.

My wife is like its only coral, stop. Please.

We lost power 3 times in Old Saybrook this past winter.

First for 3 hours, then about 10 hours, then 5 days.

So, needless to say, I made sure my Generator is up to snuff and the wife is fully knowledgable on it's use when I'm away.

I only wish I had one of those generators that turn on automatically.

Very sorry for your losses of such nice corals.
