So you like the clean look of the IM 8 or IM Pico but need more light? Never fear. Here is my retro with two 3-ups and two Ohmite Series heat sinks. I can't believe no one has used these heat sinks yet. They are perfect for Pico sized tanks.
The pictures speak for themselves, but they are driven by an Inventronics 25w driver with a 10k pot. I only have two 3-ups and still have them driven at only about 55%. At 55% the heat sinks are still completely cool. I would imagine I could turn them up to 80-90% and still be around 100 F.
