I'm soooooooo mad!

I am so mad at my hippo tang. I bought some codium for $30.00 on the weekend. They assured me that tangs won't bother with it because it is much too rubbery. Well, that fat pig has torn the whole thing apart, and there is about 1/3 left, which by the time I get home from work will probably be gone. I feed nori every day. This stupid fish eats more than my teenage son. Good thing I really love him, cause right now I could ring his neck (if he had one). Oh well, live and learn.

Well it's all gone now. I can see why they call them 'hippos'. LOL Still love that sucker though. Definitely an entertaining fish. Not shy in the least.

Uh yeah...don't blame the fish. They're just salt water cows dude.

Blame the store...a healthy tang will not resist some good macro!

It's easy to blame the store but you need to remember that they're in the business of selling fish and corals and don't always give out the best of advise. So you really should do some research before hand on any purchases. It is a learning process and this, unfortunily, is one of those things.

I my old tank I purposely grew Codium to feed it to my two Foxfaces. They went mad over the stuff.
So much for the advice that it is too rubbery to be eaten by fishes..........
