I have an 8ish year old Bio Cube 29. I am getting a little seepage in the front top right corner where the top trim is. The water/salt runs down the outside of the glass.
Open to suggestions, but my current thought is to drop the water level for a few days, and lay down a bead of caulk or silicone inside the tank up against the top trim and glass in the area where seepage is coming from.
Questions:
1. Is there a preferred/recommended caulk or silicone?
2. Planning on dropping tank level so the area is above the water line while curing, but what are the risks/potential impact if new/uncured caulk/silicone was to get into the tank water?
Thanks,
Joe
